O'Shea overlooked in the centre of defense in favour of Pique, alongside Ferdinand.
If I were O'Shea I'd be packing my bags in the summer, but I've got a feeling he'll stick around for his 15 minutes of fame each week.
Ian Daly scored the equaliser for Man City's Pontin's League team against Blackpool last night. Greg Cunningham also started for the Blues.

Gary Dicker scored his first of the season, unfortunately it was an OG!
John O'Shea came off the bench for the 16th time this season! He's also started 17 games for Manchester United
you'd seriously wonder what the lad must be thinking. This time last week he was first choice off the bench but this week he's been leapfrogged by not one, but two defenders (Silvestre and Pique)....If he doesn't do something in the summer it'll just confirm everyone's suspicions that he's in it for the money and title of "Manchester United squad player"
"Well I think they'll be a little disappointed with that" - Matt Holland on TV3 after 5-2 drubbing by Cyprus
Looks like Richard Keogh is impressing at Cheltenham - encouraging considering our current dirth of Decent Centrebacks.
Keogh extends Robins loan deal
Bristol City defender Richard Keogh has extended his loan spell at League One outfit Cheltenham Town until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has made six appearances for the League One side since moving to Whaddon Road on an initial month-long deal in March.
"Richard has been a tremendous asset for us. It's a big plus to have him for the rest of the season and I'm thankful again to (Bristol City manager) Gary Johnson for loaning him to us," Cheltenham boss Keith Downing told his club's official website.
"Richard has struck up a good understanding with Shane Duff from day one and I think they are as good a centre-back pairing as any in the division."
Rooney and Ronaldo were leapfrogged as starters for rotation purposes.. O'Shea was leapfrogged as a replacement option. I agree with Dr Ogba...
Karl Moore, Garry Breen, Michael Daly and Paul Marshall all started for Man City's reserve side in their 2-1 loss to Liverpool's reserves. Ian Daly was and unused sub.

Paul Marshall and Karl Moore started for Man City's reserves in their 1-0 win over Sunderland's second string. Michael Daly, Garry Breen and Greg Cunningham were unused subs for the blues. Ian Harte, Anthony Stokes and Billy Dennehy started for Sunderland, while Gavin Donoghue was introduced as a second half substitute.

Moore was played out of position at left full, and the reserve manager, Ian Miller, had this to say:
