O'Shea overlooked in the centre of defense in favour of Pique, alongside Ferdinand.

If I were O'Shea I'd be packing my bags in the summer, but I've got a feeling he'll stick around for his 15 minutes of fame each week.

you'd seriously wonder what the lad must be thinking. This time last week he was first choice off the bench but this week he's been leapfrogged by not one, but two defenders (Silvestre and Pique)....If he doesn't do something in the summer it'll just confirm everyone's suspicions that he's in it for the money and title of "Manchester United squad player"

Looks like Richard Keogh is impressing at Cheltenham - encouraging considering our current dirth of Decent Centrebacks.

    Keogh extends Robins loan deal
Bristol City defender Richard Keogh has extended his loan spell at League One outfit Cheltenham Town until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has made six appearances for the League One side since moving to Whaddon Road on an initial month-long deal in March.

"Richard has been a tremendous asset for us. It's a big plus to have him for the rest of the season and I'm thankful again to (Bristol City manager) Gary Johnson for loaning him to us," Cheltenham boss Keith Downing told his club's official website.

"Richard has struck up a good understanding with Shane Duff from day one and I think they are as good a centre-back pairing as any in the division."

Ronaldo and Rooney leepfrogged too? Ferguson always rotates his squad for CL games that don't count for anything, don't see why this would be any different.

Rooney and Ronaldo were leapfrogged as starters for rotation purposes.. O'Shea was leapfrogged as a replacement option. I agree with Dr Ogba...
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

Alan Bennett's goal was a cracker. Happened to catch it on ITV the other morning. Worth a look if you can find it online.

He is set to be joined by Leeds team-mate Simon Madden, a young full-back, and left-sided midfielder Billy Dennehy from Sunderland.

Coventry City defender Liam Robinson and young Manchester United striker Chris Fagan complete the quartet of trialists in the match.

Paul Marshall and Karl Moore started for Man City's reserves in their 1-0 win over Sunderland's second string. Michael Daly, Garry Breen and Greg Cunningham were unused subs for the blues. Ian Harte, Anthony Stokes and Billy Dennehy started for Sunderland, while Gavin Donoghue was introduced as a second half substitute.
Stokes had a first half strike ruled out for the Black Cats

Moore was played out of position at left full, and the reserve manager, Ian Miller, had this to say:
was very impressed with our young back four unit tonight, especially with Karl Moore playing out of position for me at left back. He did really well
