I thought "still being linked" meant still being linked after the result today.
He's not still being linked because Norwich won. Norwich are not likely to change managers until their season is over, if their survival prospects look reasonable.

The only way Hughton should be judged on his work with Norwich. He should do what's best for the club.
The impact that his decisions on selection or tactics might have on the international prospects of any of his players is none of his concern really.

Must be said. Hoolahan is playing very, very well. Tidy passer. The ball sticks to his feet.
You wouldn't know that he hasn't played in over a month.
Hoolahan almost scored again. All his own doing. Starts a one-two, gets the ball back and forces Guzan into a good save, sharp reflexes see him first to the rebound but the header is parried wide.
Then Villa only go up and score at the other end.
Don't think Hoolahan has lost the ball once. His ability to find teammates even when they are crowded by the opposition is uncanny. He will be an asset for us.
4-1 to Villa now. Norwich in knots at the back.

Didn't notice Redmond at all when he was on. Pilkington on at half-time. Still 4-1 Villa and the life has been sucked out of Norwich.
Way off topic, I know but I was watching Madrid derby instead of Norwich / Villa. Irish flag in Atletico crowd with something about an Irish fan club on it? Would be great if we could get a couple of Irish prospects over to the Vicente Calderon.
