What price on Stan pulling it out the bag, with a truly inspiring selection including some genuine surprises.

As a minimum I expect to see Ronnie O'Brien in the squad.

    Hopefully.
I don't think there should be any eL players in either squad with the timing of these fixtures.
Hopefully any City players will pull out.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

No real surprises there, Ireland hasn't been playing much for Man City since the return from injury of a few players.
    Is Elliott back to fitness?

Exactly. Who on earth are these two?

Good to see McPhail back in the fold, to an extent.

What's the story with that fat waster Paddy Kenny? Has he been dropped? If so good riddance to him he was pure s**te against the Dutch and the Cypriots. 9 goals conceeded in 2 games. Now John O'Shea to follow him.

    WTF does Colgan offer?

I believe Randolph is highly rated but why no Conrad Logan?

Paddy Kenny could have been good here, and probably raised his confidence. However, Staunton has called up pretty much the exact same squad who played our last 2-3 games, which really hasnt worked that well. Ireland still rarely plays at Man City, Clarke deserves it just as much as Lee, Murphy and Connolly have been playing more than Elliott and Sunderland (he was injured, and they have not been scoring ) Martin Rowlands has half the appearences (injuries) and 4 more goals than Douglas (who has 0). Where is Shane Long in the B team? And why would you not call up Dixon for a B match if you are so confident in him? Is Ian Harte still hurt? Strange thing, the FAI. I'm really not too worried though, that B team could beat San Marino, and if they (the A team) dont, Staunton won't be there through Thanksgiving.

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here

Can't say for certain, but he didn't play at the weekend?

No it didn't. It included John O'Shea and Joe Murphy. Duffer was on the U-20s in 1997 and 1999, while Keane was on the U-18s in 1998.

I'm biased obviously, but I'm curious as to how Randolph - the U-19s keeper - can jump ahead of Darren Quigley (and Colin Doyle), the U-21s keepers?
