off the top of my head:
GK:
Alan Kelly
DF:
Gary Kelly
Alan Kernaghan
MF:
Graham Kavanagh
Roy Keane
Kevin Kilbane
FW:
Robbie Keane
David Kelly
Not sure has this come up before, its not that hard but anyways
name an Ireland 11 with the surname of each beginning with K. They have to have played in the position.
Alan Kelly
Gary Kelly - Alan Kernaghan -Roy Keane - Jeff Kenna
Mark Kinsella - - Graham Kavanagh - Mark Kennedy -Kevin Kilbane
David Kelly - Robbie Keane
Well done, didnt take long.
More strictly adhering to positions:
GK:Kenny or Kearns
RB: Kenna/Kelly (Stephen or Gary)
CB: Kernaghan, Roy Keane (vs Iceland!)
LB: Kelly (Stephen or Gary)/ Kenna
MF: Kennedy (RM & LM), Keane Kinsella Kilbane (LM, CM) Mark Kelly (LM)
CF: Keane David Kelly
I'm sure Mark Kennedy has played on the right as well as left. Alternatively put Kilbane LM, CM, LB & CB (he played 3 different positions against Chile I think!)
And of course Brian Kerr as manager.
"I just came in to buy a stamp"-Padraig Pearse, April 24th 1916
and of course Krusty the Klown our current manager!!!!!!!!1
All home matches to be played in Kilkenny.
M anyone? Again must have played in the position.
(in no order across)
G: Joe Murphy (S****horpe)?????????????
D: Moran, McGrath, McCarthy, Morris
M: McAteer, McLoughlin, McGeady, McGoldrick
F: Morrison, Macken?
Subs: S McPhail, P McShane, D Murphy, L Miller, P McCarthy, A Maybury
Manager: McCarthy (I guess player-manager)
Dont forget for K Mark Kinsella
Joe Murphy is a former u21, I couldnt find any other Irish keepers
Obviously Macken is not the greatest choice but I couldnt remember any other Forwards
He has, I'm sure, at least for Wolves (not sure about Palace)I'm sure Mark Kennedy has played on the right as well as left. Alternatively put Kilbane LM, CM, LB & CB (he played 3 different positions against Chile I think!)

My Guarantee
Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
Now is that Alan Kelly Snr or Alan Kelly Jrn as both kept goal for Ireland? They even have a portrait of the former across a stand which is named after him in Deepdale, Preston.

Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
The C team:
Nicky Colgan
Stephen Carr-Noel Cantwell-Kenny Cunningham-Clive Clark
Terry Conroy-Lee Carsley-Jackie Carey
Paddy Coad-Tony Cascarino-David Conolly
Manager: Jack Charlton
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
^ could have Tommy Coyne in there too.
B Team
Bonner,
Babb, Breen, Paul Butler, Beglin,
Barrett, Brady, Thomas Butler**, Boland
Jason Byrne, John Byrne*
Manager: Pat Byrne
** Ex-Sunderland got 2 caps for us years ago
*the guy who played for Sunderland and scored in every round of the FA Cup in 1992 - think he played around 20 games for us.
Did Willie Boland ever play in the full team ?? If not I guess swap Babb for him and then bring in Shay Brennan
H team
Henderson
Hughton, Charlie Hurley, Harte, Jimmy Holmes
Heighway, Healy, Holland, Joe Haverty
???? Any idea on strikers???
Coach: Hand
What about the L team for losers, this is so lame
I am shocked to think that Budgie Byrne, who scored the goal the Cascarino didn't against Turkey in our 3-1 win in Izmir in 1991, should ever be forgotten. Budgie was a roundy legend in the far too few games he played - I think I remember him getting two with a red ball against Wales in Wrexham when we played a friendly there on the local ice rink in 1992?
Oh, yeah, he didn't score in the final that year, and I think that they started in the third round, so not strictly true. But a legend nonetheless.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
