Stephen Ward scored again, Keogh, Stokes and Colin Doyle all putting in excellent performances tonight apparently.
Karl Moore opened the scoring for Man City's reserves in a 2-2 draw with Alan O'Brien's Newcastle reserve side. Garry Breen unfortunately scored an og to bring the toon back into the game.

Paddy McCarthy on the injury which has ended his season
Sidelined McCarthy 'frustrated' by training injury
By Bill Anderson
Leicester City captain Paddy McCarthy has spoken of his frustration after being forced to miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.
McCarthy underwent an operation last week on the injury he sustained in a training ground accident.
The City skipper said his disappointment was compounded by picking up the injury in training.
"We made the decision that surgery was the best thing for my injury," said 23-year-old McCarthy.
"My season is finished at the moment. It's very frustrating.
"It came out of the blue. I fell awkwardly and my shoulder popped out. To do it in training in a 'nothing' accident was very frustrating. We saw a number of surgeons for different opinions. They all came back with the same answer that the sensible thing was to have surgery."
McCarthy, who admits to being a poor spectator, added: "This is my first long-term injury. I am not usually good at sitting out games.
"I have to put my trust in the physios. Hopefully they can get me back as quickly as possible."
McCarthy, who picked up the injury before the 1-1 draw with Luton, said recent results had created a real "buzz" at the club.
City have gone on to beat Ipswich, Coventry and Burnley, and the Irishman admits that City are well served in his centre-half position.
"We have got a lot of options and players who can come in," said McCarthy.
"Gareth McAuley and Patrick Kisnorbo have done really well and we have Darren Kenton, Nisse Johansson and Richard Stearman who can play there. We have a lot of cover.
"I will be in and around the training ground and to the games, supporting the lads.
"They have been doing really well over the last couple of weeks and there's a really good buzz around the place."
God I use to love watching him play now I'm close to giving up on him.
Yeah I watched the match too. He made one run to the edge of the box beating a couple of players and it was the first time I've seen the old Duff in a long time. When you look at him now you wonder was he ever actually that good but that run refreshed my memory. He changed the direction of the ball and completely fooled his opponent.
I'm pretty sure that a lot of it is down to confidence. The fans are getting on his back. He still demanded the ball plenty of times though, it's like he's trying to fight it.He had a poor game overall but Martins was worse imo. Everyone had a bad game.
At Half-Time
David Connolly just scored again, and though it was a penalty, Connolly was the one who won the penalty
Liam Miller scored
Jay Tabb scored
Clinton Morrison scored twice
David McGoldrick (Who played for the Ireland u21s I believe) scored
Kevin O'Connor (the Brentford one) scored
Ian Morris scored

Stokes not even on the Sunderland bench today.
Some talkof disciplinary problems, or not ??
http://www.sportinglife.com/football...HD=nationwide1
Meanwhile, Keane denied that Anthony Stokes had been left out of his 16 for disciplinary reasons.
"Absolutely not," he said. "There were other players left out too and they would all be disappointed.
"Stokes was left out like Ross Wallace was left out, like Kenny Cunningham was left out today.
Cillian Sheridan came off the bench for Celtic today and laid on the winning goal in injury time with a 1-2 to Miller. I think just turned 18 around now, maybe today.
Another 2 goals for Keane. His shot also led to the other goal. And he's sent off in the 35th minute for a handball in the box I think.
Apparantly it was very harsh. He was on the line and he chested the ball down, bounced off his hand. Something like that anyway.![]()
BBC seem to think that it was a blatant hand ball.![]()
I found Keane's goals and penalty incident.

Hard to tell but it looks like the chest to me. Excellent first goal.
