Unfortunately I missed the goal, just saw a replay though in better quality.

A great start to his season at WB, joint top scorer.

Goal all of his own making robbed the defender, held off his challenge and great finish.

He almost had an assist but his pass was poor, a heavy touch.
Chelsea look poor.

its on TV here. Was a lovely, lovely finish and a great opportunist move to rob Alex and get the chance in the first place. His attempted assist for Tchoi was really really bad though. I thought he should have taken the shot himself anyway.

It was like Michael Owen at his peak. Great work first to win the ball, speed past Alex and wait until the keeper went to ground before slotting the ball into the net. World class finishing. How much is Long worth now?

I thought he could have taken another step in but the shot was always going to be very narrow. He's adapted to the Premier League seamlessly though and I think with a few weeks' more under his belt he'd have put nailed the cross. Pity.

Very impressive goal by Long, all of his own making too, showed great opportunism to steal the ball and then showed good strength in muscling Alex who is no lightweight off the ball. Was kind of expecting him to miss after doing all the hard work but he showed great composure to finish it off. On current form I think I'd have him Irish team ahead of Doyle at the moment.
