I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Been in a bit of a glam rock groove of late, so...

Yet another in the long "he can write 'em but he can't sing 'em" line of Dylan tunes

pretty sure this one's by the quite under-rated Hello

and not a bad version, wish someone would give that riff the real holly though.

Might not be the most amazing version you've ever heard. This is a right and hard song to reproduce vocally, but I tried my best. Complete with harps top ;P

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Not really a cover as the singer also did the song for the show, but may as well post it

Nigel great job. The vocal mix was cat on that video though. Ye're tight aren't ye!

Also, you've blown my theory that I'm the only member of the forum with a beard!

Cheers bro, sound that night was terrible. I think theres a better video out there somewhere since that one was taken. The beard has expanded since then too. Going more scruffy 70's by the day.

Here's another cover if you're interested. roughly recorded last night in fact with the girlfriend, for the Horslips fans.

Dunno, it's not bad, but just waiting the whole time to hear "Yee, come awwnn..uuuh".

Saying that, the guitar arrangement is class.

I'm also a scruffy, beardo type. We should have our own club.

    Like a "No Homers"-type deal?

We could call it "No Paul O'Sheas"; I imagine that someone who owns a man-bag has to have a clean shaven face. They're the rules yeah?
