How could I forget Crouching Tiger Hidden Striker: Petr Crouch!

    Andy Cole would be another.

Just imagine, Nick Barmby has commanded nearly £20m in transfer fees!!!

Even just looking at the lists above, how many were wroth their transfer fees? 50% maybe?

The latest question going around is what 3 Englishmen commanded transfer fees of over 7million but were never capped. I don't know the answer by the way.

Had some friends round on Friday evening to play a Match of the Day Quiz which I got for Christmas. We watched the Reading vs Palace first on the box (Clint only on the bench - Macken in ahead of him ) Tough answering these questions with no Google to hand. One I didn't get was which English international played one season for Celtic, then went to Burnley and retired the year after than. I remembered it only when I heard the answer

Wright is right. Don't think he made much of an impact in Glasgow.
