Limerick Division 1A 2005/06

But if Balla A lose all their games from here in and get relegated, the B team can replace them

What would happen if the A team did manage to get relegated and the B team survived in 1A. Would both teams be allowed in 1A. Know it wont happen but what if it did?

ya thats allowed i think Fairview had 2 teams in 1A a couple of seasons ago

I think the rule only applies to the top tier

Has happened before with Geraldines. on that occasion with geraldines, their A-team were not relegated.........very unfair....the team above them in the league got the chop

I think the Dines stayed up on merit by winning their last game.

The league was busted right open last weekend with the results....we win our next game and we go 4th...Very close between the top 9 teams.....still looks good for star with all the games in hand but ye have to win them...have ye to play wembly and corbally twice yet???

well they weren't down to play any league match SEE'S IT so it makes no difference..they were down to play fai against bridge but it was called offf.think there was a death in one of the clubs???

WE HAVE TO PLAY CORBALLY TWICE, AND WE ARE AT HOME TO WEMBLEY.

WE DONT HAVE TO WIN ALL OUR GAMES IN HAND EITHER, AS WE ARE CURRENTLY 12 PTS BEHIND CORBALLY AND 8 PTS BEHIND WEMBLEY WITH 6 GAMES IN HAND,

SO WE'D BE HAPPY WITH 5 WINS AND 1 DRAW FROM THE 6 GAMES TO PUT US 4 POINTS CLEAR OF CORBALLY AND 8 CLEAR OF WEMBLEY.

Who did ye get in the divisional cup...we got geraldines i think

why there wasnt a re-arranged league match for them so.according to the clare jnr league site the game was called off during the week.theres going to be a granville i can see it now................

its a joke really when u can see it happeneing this early in the league..something will have to be done with the fixtures...getting out of hand now!!

Why is it a joke???

We'll still have to win the games lads, as games in hand are no good unless you win them, in fairness we may end up playing teams that have nothing to play for but there are already some teams in the league that have nothing to play for, ie Croom/Abbey more or less relegated and the the top two spots are between, Corbally, Wembley, Star, Summerville & maybe one outsider, but that's about it..

Croom 0 - 3 Shannon
