Rumours of his demise have been greatly exaggerated - Connolly signs one month deal with Portsmouth (subject to league approval): http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/Latest...arts-4021.aspx

I thought you'd be happy they weren't wasting time and were passing it to Connolly as soon as possible.
Where is Worm these days?
The sports news headlines this afternoon are all about Connolly.
He's back!
Signed for AFC Wimbledon: http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/a...d-2205635.aspx
Connolly has officially retired.

My condolences to The Worm.
I assume he'll be flying over for the funeral.
The Worm hasn't posted on this forum in about two years..........as soon as I saw the news of Connolly's retirement I instantly thought of him.
still posts the goalscorers on ybig.ie, but don't think he contributes to any of the other threads
his last post gives some insight into the reasons he stopped posting here: http://foot.ie/threads/175481-Carl-M...=1#post1660335
So it WAS Nigel's fault.
A degree of irony to SkStu's tuppence worth. Little did he know then that he too could be broken.

Example of a YBIG thread title: "Is Stephen Kelly black or white".
Amount of neckbeards in that place..
Stephen is a nice fella. He used to hang around Maynooth when Helga was studying there. There were no airs or graces about him like there would be with some GAA players. To borrow Eamon Dunphy parlance, he doesn't need crap like that posted about him on a forum.
But back to Connolly. What a frustrating player....

I'll never forgive him for Brussels. Ever.
