While disappointed to see fans favourite Willie Armshaw leave and certainly one couldnt blame him given his treatment by the Treaty mgt team ,can only wish him the very best going foward at his new club who have unfortunately been branded like many other junior clubs in Limerick as some moneybag paymasters which of course only comes from the usual sources once they leave Treaty.Good to see the Treaty squad adding to the squad depth though once again none of them local.

What else would you expect from the biggest mouth on here... Armshaw being a perennial substitute over the last four seasons definitely had nothing to do with him leaving Treaty though.

I didn't say that. We did however comply with our obligations as per that contract.

Do people on here seriously think an LOI club would hand out a 4 year deal without clauses covering if things went awry?

Willie Armshaw was the first Treaty player to make 100+ apps, think he was an unused sub less than a half dozen times. He was valued.

Me saying that he's after getting significant pay rise isn't sour grapes, it's a fact. He was a great servant. There are lads that aren't half the player he is coining it in Limerick, he is too and fair play to him, but would have been good to see him stay in the league.

Some of the comments on here you'd swear he was the second coming of Christ.

I didn’t say you said that either. I just asked the question because I genuinely wanted to know, as it was announced that he had left the club due to family reasons but you suggested he was sacked

I'm sorry that you think I'm a spoof and a mouth.

He left a month ago, he only joined Aisling Annacotty yesterday. Personal reasons were cited for him leaving. The fact that he's getting a few bob playing junior is not the sole reason he left Treaty, but he is getting a few bob and fair play to him. Would have been nice to see him stay in the league even if it would probably bite Treaty on the ass.

That sounds very much like something a LOI club has done in the past, the bigger question is have clubs learned from the past?

Wasn't good at Harps either. Lovely lad, really hope he does well, but I wouldn't have huge hopes for him.
