I’d suggest that given his predictions were posted 30 mins into the game, that he should lose 1/3rd of the base points gained (30/90) and reassessed for bonus points. Quite a few posters have posted up to 20 mins after kick offs in previous weeks so not sure if that would be fair to Del. I just don’t think that late submissions should be accepted.

Also, it would be a fair and reasonable practice to simply not accept results submitted after 7:45pm (on a go-forward basis).

Seeing as I'm the snake who ratted him up to the Boss (geddit - geddit?), it's only fair that I don't totally screw him over, as I'd disproportionately benefit. It's not like he drunkenly forgot to post his predictions, and asked to have all 1-1's entered while posting from his phone - he black-guardedly posted late into the games.
On the other hand, he's a good poster, a fella with integrity on this forum, and in the real world.

On that basis, yes, I would support the SkStu proposal, and the bonus point reassessment.

Fwiw... I didn't use my 'lateness' to my advantage. For example, Waterford were one up at Bohs and I predicted them to lose to nil. At a quick scan, I think all the other games were 0-0? But it was sloppy on my part and agree with Stu that late entries probably shouldn't really be accepted. It's against the spirit of the game. You should really clamp down on it from Series 33 onwards.

Fair few late predictions this season, so whatever is decided should be from this point forward I would say. Then I'd reckon a two strikes rule over a time period, anyone can forget or just remember in time to scramble a few scores together for the night now and again. Unless you want to get yourself into the realms of clear and deliberate advantage sought Boss which to be fair, no one has I don't think.
