Only telling ya what the man said El Niño, a team that attracts all the best players in cork and that could possibly run away with the league just like Celtic most seasons the way things are going, he might aswell stick with Bandon and do the relegation battle and then go buy football manager 2014 start a career with psg buy all the best players and win the league every season

Any more movements in the transfer market lads?
Any truth in the rumours one leaving both rockmount and casement?
Two huge losses and both were best players for said teams any time i seen them play.
Dont want to give names as not one for stirring.
Maybe those involved with the clubs could confirm it or someone more in the know.

I've heard a few transfers myself a few heading to Everton and one leaving!! Also can't see anyone leave casement when they top of the league?? Rockmount aren't the same anymore so no surprise players leaving there!! Also a few heading to Mary's I believe!! Won't say names either unfair to name players til moves have being confirmed !!! My own view the amount of players leaving and joining clubs in transfer window is crazy !!!

Mary's is the prefered destination ive heard aswell. You'd like to think that about casement alright but a lot of there players are young and have already played with a couple of clubs and could have their heads turned. But having seen casement alot this year they are a great side and look a close bunch of lads.

Totally agree madness local football is destroyed by these transfer windows !! The promises made to players is hilarious and to make it worse the players believe it... Nothing will change the premier it's Avondale!!!

your right there. you'd see situations there where a player could be approached at the beginning of the window in aul or MSL and if their team loses a few games they leave in a huff at the end of the window. its crazy. no need for it to be open so long.

I don't quite understand your post ,Nothing will change the premier its Avondale .It was only 3 years ago people were on here saying that Avondale were dead and that Rockmount would dominate ,Now its the opposite .

Avondale will go through a bad patch again and we might have UCC or St marys dominating and people will come on and complain saying the college have a unfair advantage having such a big pick and Marys are poaching all the best teams players .

The transfer window can also change a clubs fortunes .If one of the clubs fighting relegation was able to get 2 or 3 new recruits in ,it could change their season and help them kick on.

Cant see Avondale prevailing with Ryan at the helm, players questioning him since the start and its only going to get worse,Mark Sullivan was their best player by a mile and him leaving will only add to matters!

He seems to be doing well so far don't he??? And I heard all these rumors about players not liking him and stuff.. But having spoke to 3 or 4 of them they all happy out at Avondale and looking forward to winning leagues and cups this year to prove a few people on here wrong like yourself who slated them on this last season!!

Fair enough they might go on and take the premier but the intermediate cup is out of the question,Ryan is too tactically inept but in saying that I wouldn't be surprised if the players got him over the line

He has to take some of the blame for Mayfield being relegated last term, and goes from that to the top managerial seat in the country at intermediate level,he is after falling on his feet getting the Avondale post!

Did you see the Avondale Rockmount game in the intermediate cup Nino. Avondale were down to 9 men and played total counter attavking football in the second half and destroyed rockmount. It was the best second have display ive seen from an amature side. And this was achieved by making 3 tactical changes Kearney went wide Fox came on and long went center of the park. And you must take into account he was up against Billy Croinin one of the best managers of all time So to call him tactically inept is laughable

First of all Rockmount refused to push through the advantage they were given and failed to use the ball, and continuously hitting long ball after long ball which is their forte week in week out but when an opportunity comes like this against 9 men they simply do not know how to adapt,i wouldn't read too much in to that game mary!

Cronins philosophy has been stamped on the whitechurch outfit just like Cryuff at Barcelona but my god they are a million worlds apart,im not comparing Rockmount to Barcelona for one minute but you get my drift,if teams cant play that is fair enough but my god they should at least try!
