The Irish players from the list of released players on football365: https://www.football365.com/news/eve...ub-this-summer
Bournemouth
Joseph Quigley
Brighton & Hove Albion
Desmond Hutchinson
Rian O’Sullivan
Burnley
Khius Metz
Crystal Palace
Damien Delaney
Everton
Sam Byrne
Leicester City
Dylan Watts
Stoke City
Shola Ayoola
Stephen Ireland
West Bromwich Albion
Robbie McCourt
Evan Pierce
So Dylan Watts is being released by Leicester, which means his loan spell at Bohs ends as well. Will be a loss for Bohs, unless they manage to sign him.
No major shocks there, I guess - of that group, Dessie Hutchinson looked closest to a breakthrough but even he would have been behind other Irish players at his club. We knew that Damien Delaney was moving to Cork City anyway - hopefully might be opportunities for LOI managers with a good eye for a bargain to develop a few of these lads
You wonder who'd take a chance on Stephen Ireland now

A few words here with Afolabi.
Also interesting to note that O'Driscoll is 19 so the contract takes him up to 21. Afolabi is 18 so it takes him to 19.
Adam Idah was among a number of Norwich City players that signed their first professional contracts last week: https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018...e-to-the-club/
Paudie O'Connor gone on a season-long loan to Blackpool - got a new two-year deal at Leeds last month: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44740522

It was only when I read about O'Connor that I realised John O'Sullivan had also signed up there. He moves up a division having been released by League Two Carlisle, in spite of not having a great season.
Colin Doyle picked up by Hearts. 3rd keeper signed by Hearts this transfer window
David McGoldrick joins Sheffield United after his Ipswich days come to a close.

Marc Wilson joins Bolton

Nice to see these two still deemed capable of Championship contracts, you never know, their days in green might not be over yet either.
