ha. well then please accept my most humble apologies!
Erm, except I was talking about McShane.
ha. well then please accept my most humble apologies!
Folding my way into the big money!!!
McShane will have little difficulty in meeting championship standards.
Actually, he was struggling to keep up...
In your opinion.
In the opinion of Palace fans, McShane did very well.
In fact, not a bad comment anywhere
Paul McShane (Dumbuya, 67): 7 - The on-loan Hull City defender also effortlessly slipped into the right-back berth when he came home. A boost now that Peter Ramage has gone back to QPR.
8 exemplary when he came on
7 - tidy
7 - I was worried but he did well; quicker than I'd thought too
Mc Shane was OK. Got a couple of good tackles in
7 - some crunching tackles
8 solid as a rock
7 Looked OK, made some good tackles
6 – Good first sighting where he looks a full back without the frills. Looked a little uncertain positionally which was no great surprise, but put in some good tackles and did not allow Townsend much joy.
McShane - was dubious but turned out to be exactly what we needed. Great sub by Dougie
8 - looks very good, made some brilliant tackles

Wasn't it "Speed Deamon".
How hard can it be to spell 'demon'?![]()
Wrong thread, geysir!
Though if you must persist, also going by the judgment of the CP fans I was at the game with and those around me who thought McShane's abilities 'limited, if we're being polite.
Anyway, this thread is about Paddy, who was solid, so.
Just sent off for two bookings. First one wasn't a booking but the second one was crazy. Smashed through the back of Miller for no reason at all. Speed Deamon McShane replacing Ambrose to cover for him. Gonna be very tough for Palace now.
My Guarantee
Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
Yeah, a real Richard Dunne circa 2007 of a challenge.
What a pity for McCarthy, very rash though. McShane on to replace him and is doing well as we head into extra time. Good old fashioned cup tie.
Always look on the bright side of life
It was my first time watching McCarthy in a game, he was poor on the night and couldn't get to grips with Miller.
It doesn't look good for Paddy when McShane comes in and does the CH job better, gets his head to the ball, shackles Miller and generally good with distribution to midfield.
Props to him. Good enough for the EPL?
He'll have to get fit first. Delaney and Ramage would be the incumbent pairing now.
Will be interesting to see if he gets back in, they might end up with an Irish pairing there, but to early to say.
Was that him going up on crutches with the team as they received the trophy?
McCarthy is an honest and passionate soul, but his rashness in decision making, lack of pace and poor distribution will really affect his ability to play in the Premiership.
So he is basically a Politician without the honesty and passion?
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
