I have always found Derry folk to be welcoming and engaging people and last Friday I enjoyed some pre-match banter with locals in the Bluebell Bar, where my €20 note got a reasonable stg£16 sterling in return.
However when I tried to buy some burgers from RS Catering in the ground I found the rate had shrunk to stg£14 for the same amount. Blatent rip-off or just the volatility of the post Brexit sterling exchange rate?

Looking forward to the visit of Longford on Tuesday. Should we order many bags of Tayto?
That would have been the rate around the start of the year, but changed a bit since then. Not great value, I'd have called them on it.
Fairly brutal stuff from ourselves on Friday night, equalling out biggest ever LoI defeat (and being the biggest at home). Shocking defending for the first two goals, then McBride needlessly getting himself sent off. From then on we all kind of expected a hiding. Probably could have been worse, reckon Dundalk were due a penalty in the second half.
Not sure if I'd read too much into the result from our own point of view. Yes, we were very poor, but we're capable of better. Regarding Dundalk, they really are a class above the rest of the league. Some lovely passing moves and clinical finishing, thought the fifth goal was great. I'd imagine they'll get through their CL qualifier handy enough, based on last Friday night.
Dundalk 1-0 Longford Town (McMillan 11')
First of many one would think!
Dundalk 1-1 Longford Town (Lee Duffy 35')
2-2 now.
