Ballymena vs Cliftonville
C'ville play better on the road and have a great incentive as they beat the leader 1:0 in the last round. They are now just two points behind Linfield and can get to the top if they win tonight. J. McGovern (key defender) is suspended, but a new midfielder J. Winchester is available. On the other hand, Ballymena will be without their two topscorers A. Jenkins and D. Cushley due to suspension. Also, they have a cup game on Saturday, while reigning champion will have eleven days off.
My guess is that away side is strongly motivated and keep in the mind that they heve seven wins in a row against Ballymena Utd (27:5 a goal difference). Only concern may be poor conditions on the pitch (rainy weather is announced at the Showgrounds tonight) for the Reds, but I'm willing to take risk for good price at my local.
Anyway this is my first bet after a few months (since the end of the Premier League of Ireland), so I'm not going with high stakes. Good luck if you follow me...
bet: Cliftonville win by two or more goals difference
odds: @2.75
stake: 2/5
Until The Last Rebel!
Ballymena 1:3 Cliftonville
There were very bad weather conditions with some questionable referee decision, but the result is important in the end. A good return in the betting for me. Cheers
