Oshea really does offer very little to this team, only that he has played at UTD and has many caps, if he was starting out now, he wouldn't be getting in.

McCarthy, Coleman and O'Shea all had opportunities to put in ball-winning challenges in that build up. Ultimately O'Shea should've just stuck to his man. Very poor. Good finish though.

That is why O'Shea should never play CB.

How slow is Whelan? It's like he's running through treacle. Well jogging through treacle.

I get the impression lately that they seem to be a bit laissez-faire about the opponents, as though they think that the opportunities they are giving aren't likely to be punished. But they are, its kinda like a few lads playing on a Sunday morning, sometimes, with the attitude.

first 20 mins very good, we now look out of ideas. And the greeks have got a hold. Hopefully we can defend well anyway.

greece well in control since about the 20th minute. we've had an awful spell since then.

clark should have been sent off there.

pretty decent half even though we are 1-0 down, some of the players even look like they care about the result.

we're losing, trap says not losing is the most important thing, i wonder will holohan get the full half. We need change really losing it in midfield.

Yes, got that about Brady but I don't think pace is such a pressing issue when you use the ball well. It's been his least dynamic performance in green. However he's a kid.

I don't like how we allow the opposition dictate our play. We played some lovely stuff when allowed but as soon as the Greeks decided to turn up we were reduced to hoofball.

Long has been wonderful. 'nuff sed.

why do we alwalys look like the away team, even at home, whats wrong with pressing them in the final third rather than outside our box?

greece bossed most of the half. their passing, movement and close control is better. they are better, basically.

brady is a bit of a luxury player. our generation's andy reid!

Why is long off and cox still on? Long has had a far better half than cox. Trap is still as frustrating. Holohan on for brady?!

Im taking back everything i said about cox. his touch has been woeful everytime tonight. Very poor. Bizarre how he was left on and long taken off who clearly had a better half.

That's Trap all over, he does the exact opposite of what needs to be done.
I woudl have liked to have seen Brady and Hoolahan on at the same time, I think I'd probably
    have taken McCarthy off.
And of course Cox's header was woeful yet he stays on.

i keep having to remind myself it's not cox's fault he's playing. he got picked.

he's rubbish though to be fair.
