John Coleman was boss at Accrington Stanley while Long was there. He's taken over at Rochdale. Eddie Howe stated it was his intention to loan long to a League One side, obviously Long and Coleman had a strong working relationship.

A lot of Town fans won't be happy with this. We had high hopes for him but Lee Clark never really seemed to take to him and he wasn't given much of a chance.

Roy O'Donovan on loan to Hibs till the season's end. Fenlon has accumulated some very tidy loan signings there this window. Tom Soares has seen his career stall at Stoke but was a bright player for Crystal Palace prior to that and he's joined. Claros, Francomb and McPake are other names.

EDIT: Matt Doherty has now join Fenlon's charges. Untill the end of the season also.

Seriously, some League of Ireland teams should be capitalising on these loan signings. Are Crawley, Bournemouth, Colchester and the likes any better than signing for the likes of Bohs, Dundalk, the two Rovers and Cork?
