25 goals scored, Celtic Cup Champions, Italy defeated, Skopje revenge, Moscow-duck broken, a rise in the World Rankings, qualification for our first Euros off our own bat, an average of 2 goals per game, 1 goal conceded in 10 games, and that's only in 2011.

I was watching the game at home with two other people. One was giving out about Andrews and what he was doing in the team. The other was having a go at McGeady. Literally, two minutes later McGeady crosses for Andrews and the rest is history.

Seems that Fab is now taking the Trap way in International football, if the Spain game was anything to go by.
The sign of a good coach is getting the best out of your players by using the best system that is suited to the players and teams strengths.
The successful Irish sides have done this over the years, in contrast the English took the view that they were superior and above their opponents (fuelled by the overated level of the Premiership) and could match any team whatever system was played.
This of course had lead to numerous failures, perhaps the success of Ireland under Trap and his system has made the likes of England take a step back and realise that this too is the way forward to success in International tournament football.

Take a bow El Trap!
Isn't it quite amazing that we could be 18th by this evening (that's "Look Mama, I'm top of the World" stuff for us) and that we have gone unbeaten away in competitive matches for three and half years and that Robbie is now the 11th highest international goalscorer in football history and that if he scores twice tonight he becomes the highest scorer in European Championship history ( already being the highest goalscorer in the British and Irish Isles )....
The tears in his eyes in the post match interview said it all. He is passionate about the game and Ireland.
