    Chicago Hotels/accomodation

flying out to the states next week so thought id spend a few days in my favourite american city on the way home.

Hotels proving extremely expensive. Anyone got any recommendations? anywhere but the south.

Whats wrong with the South Side? Sure there are more Irish there than anywhere else (and probably cheaper accomodations). I've already given my recommendations though.

i love the North Side of Chicago. But ill usually stay downtown as the transport is so good in Chi-town you can head out anywhere from there. Heading there myself again in December for a weekend with the missus.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
