Derry City 3 UCD 2
A great game of football with Derry in control for most of the game.
R Harkin scored a super goal in the 1st half and Farren (looked more like an OG) scored early in the 2nd before Mc Daid scored another cracker goal to all but seal it.
UCD then scored late in the game and as Mc Daid's name was being called out for MOTM UCD then scored again to set up last 3 mins of tension but they never threatened again and the young Derry team with 1st teamers (Farren,Mc Daid and R Harkin) celebrated a great season for them.
Att. Aprox 270 on a night where the rain came down in bucket loads from a few hours before the game.
