He'd be wasting his time with Doyle then.Originally Posted by The Mirror
He speaks English (well, kind of, he's from Wexford) therefore he's British.
BBC gossip section, adding relevant citations, has the abovementioned Doyle-to-Arsenal story, plus Given to Arsenal, or Sampdoria. O'Shea to Stoke possibly.
Doyle's would be a great move, but possibly a poisoned chalice if Fabregas and Nasri leave.
Could Arsenal have a few Irish players next season, surely not?!!?
Doyle is trending on twitter in the London area. Just reading some of the comments, them Londoners don't rate him. They think he's ****.

when did arsenal move to the east end?
Pilkington to Norwich according to this.

Skysports.com understands that Norwich are poised to sign Anthony Pilkington from Huddersfield.
The highly-rated winger, 23, has attracted attention from a number of clubs after an impressive season for the Terriers in 2010/11.
Huddersfield recently confirmed he would be allowed to leave for the right price and Leicester were interested in securing his services.
However, it is Norwich who now look set to win the chase for Pilkington as Paul Lambert strives to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign.
A deal is believed to be close and the Canaries will hope to announce his arrival in the near future.
The opportunity to play in the Premier League is thought to have convinced Pilkington to make the move to Carrow Road
Anyone who doesn't laugh at that show doesn't have a sense of humor. I wish Karl Pilkington would play for Ireland, though unfortunately from what I've heard he's only ever scored one goal and that was an accident because he was being chased by a bee.
Though they're both bald Mancs I'd have to say Karl's head is rounder and, unbelievably, filled with more brains and common sense than the other ****.

His wiki entry is quite funny.
JOSH having a medical at Sunderland this morning according to BBC. Sad to see him leave United, never let them down.
Wigan have rejected an €11 million bid from Blackburn for James McCarthy: http://www.joe.ie/football/premier-l...rthy-0013829-1
And apparently Newcastly are offering cash plus Leon Best to Reading for Shane Long: http://www.joe.ie/football/premier-l...long-0013837-1
Newcastle are the latest Premier League club to be linked with high-flying Reading and Ireland striker Shane Long.
After a magnificent season in the Championship with the Royals last season, where he finished with 23 goals, Long has been linked with a host of clubs in the top flight since the play-off final defeat to Swansea, with Liverpool, West Brom, Everton and even Chelsea amongst those said to be interested.
Speculation on Long’s future has gone cold of late, but according to The Sun this morning, Newcastle have now entered the race to sign the 24-year old and are prepared to use his international teammate Leon Best as bait in an effort to bring him to St. James’ Park.
...
Reading value Long at around €11 million, a valuation that has already scared off Celtic, but Newcastle are hoping that a fee of around €5.5 million plus Best will convince the Royals to let Long leave.
Better off staying at Wigan even if they accepted it.
