Describes her as "Anglo-Irish". When I saw Kane was being referred to as McGovern it pretty much confirmed my thinking on matters on that end. Anyway, I think that's enough on the Lavender, McGovern and Ferdinand families from me for one week!

Gavin Gunning on trial at Scunthorpe, he is still at Blackburn though so I guess its a trial for a loan.

I think Peterborough are after a Scunthorpe player, O'Connor I think I read, maybe taking a look at covering that departure if it goes through.

Rumours from today's papers - Robbie to QPR, Joey O' Brien to West Ham (would be great news, Allardyce would know him well) and contract talks between James McCarthy and Wigan have broken down. Liverpool again mentioned as showing interest. Also Ipswich interested in Irish hopeful Stearman.

Roma's manager, Luis Enrique, isn't a fan of the players offered, it says, before then going on to say that Giuseppe Rossi is actually the preferred target. Sounds like load of filler.
