Why does Boards.ie soccer forum hate Foot.ie

Boards is actualy a fine site.The Football section is a toss-hole though.
After hours is class and the "you laugh you lose" picture sub-forum is as funny as it gets.

Something for everybody on it although i would say that some of the mods on it are on a power crazy trip.

The "Go ahead Eagles" thread in the football sub-forum is a hoot.The only contributors to it are the Eagles fan and the forum mod

the soccer forum on boards was basically a mess for ages. At various times to get posting privileges on the forum, you needed a minimum post count on boards as a whole, two different sponsors, each with their own minimum post count - eirebhoy was one of my sponsors when I was approved for posting - and it would still descend into childish insults and pointless infighting.

Threads would start on any subject and invariably descend into flame wars, Celtic and Rangers discussions were banned outright on at least one occasion, and with the sheer number of members on boards.ie, it was almost impossible to follow any discussion.

As for why they hate foot.ie, I honestly don't know. IMO the soccer forum on boards is far more moderated than here (and ybig is far less than either) but I've never really posted there for any more than a few days at a time, and not again for weeks and weeks.
