Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
If a player gets called up, does he get paid? What's in it for the player?
Also, if a player gets injured does his team get compensated?
From what I remember the players weren't insured for the Manchester United game last year. Might be different this time round. I assume the PFAI will have negotiated an appearance fee for the players but I think most will just be eager to face world class opposition.
There were no pull outs last year, and fron what I hear moat players would be delighted to be involved, as they were last year
Clubs, managers and fans a little less enthusiastic
Regardless of what level of football you played at the next level is always attrative enough for you so i cant see any player that is invited refusing to play in this game. And i will add paid or not paid.

A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.
"Of the 6 Premier clubs Richardson has to choose from, for now, I'd imagine the players of Derry, Bray and Dundalk will be to the fore. As it stands, what is the best XI/squad of players from the clubs not involved in Europe?"
right ill be first to go for it.. ill include pats players presuming they wont get through two rounds of europa league.
Rogers
Madden Hawkins McMillan Bermingham
Kearns Dempsey Bradley McGlynn
Quigley
Cummins
Others:
Doherty (GK)
Pender
Shorthall
Corry
Higgins
Zayed
North
Murphy
J Kelly
No Daryl Kavanagh? I hope Rico thinks the same way
Here on a technicality.
Cummins? As in our Cummins? I hope hes not involved!
Murphy'd be picked ahead of Cummins every time, if only for the fact he's in the Prem.
Cummins wouldn't start for any of the top 5 sides in the Premier Division

I'll repeat though, LOI sides have only ever won through 2 rounds in Europe 6 times (Pats doing it twice)
it is a tough, tough ask. It'll be 4 Thursdays in a row, with league games inbetween, and we're strictly part timers.
I'm obviously hoping it happens, I'm just pointing out it's a huge task
