Mick seems to have a good eye for young Irish talent and seems to develop young players as well, so happy to get another defender moving to a higher level.

In fairness Mick gives young Irish players a great chance and I for one am grateful to Mick for that.

But two or three? Coventry currently have Keiren Westwood, Richard Keogh, Stephen O'Halloran, Lee Carsley, David Bell, Michael Doyle, Gary Deegan and Roy O'Donovan in their squad

Bradford City sign Watford's Rob Kiernan on loan

Bradford City have signed defender Rob Kiernan on loan from Watford.

The 19-year-old centre-back has been brought in as cover for the injured Steve Williams, who has a groin strain.

Kiernan will remain at Valley Parade until 5 January and will go straight into the City squad for Saturday's match at Wycombe Wanderers.

The defender has been at Watford since the age of nine and has been capped at both under-19 and under-21 level for the Republic of Ireland.
