Lester was skipper against Rovers and Ucd anyway that's all I know can't remember if he started v Cork. Who was captain v Fingal? I know Byrne wasn't playing but wasn't there myself.

any way anyone could find out for definite please? i told the paper Lester was cap in pre season but I'd get back to them on it to confirm
Sure who'd know the difference in their readership?. If I were a gambling man my money would be on Lester. He was captain in the game against UCD that Byrne started. Just brazen it out Acorn!

right so
while were here who do ya think should be captain?
i actually think shannahan would be good hes very vocal
lester has had the armband in every game he has played so far. Id be suprised if he didnt get it. He is suspended for 1st game though
If god wanted us to play football in the clouds he would have put grass up there!
Not a fan of goalkeeper captains in general unless they're by a long way the longest serving player you have and it'd be an insult to overlook them. Happy with Shanahan being vocal without being captain tbh.
Forgot he was suspended but agreed in general. Tony Cousins knows him well and he's very experienced at this stage.

I'd go for either Lester or Deans
Philip Byrne is new captain

thats what I thought...Lester must be vice captain...
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Me, infact I think I should get both parachutes incase the first one fails.
Roddy Collins, the biggest <insert as appropiate> in Irish Football.
Anyone know the captain in the Monaghan and Limerick games ?
Thanks
I think Gary Cronin was captain in Monaghan, saw a photo of the team from that game and he had the armband on. I'd say it was John Lester in Limerick
