I sent them a very nice e-mail telling them that their Fair Play campaign is a joke.

I sent one off this morning but Im afraid they will all be filtered into the folder "Disgruntled Irish Fans" never to be read. Funny too how the "official" FIFA match report doesnt mention the match changing incident at all. Oh and you cant add comments anymore cos they removed that option on the english and german FIFA sites.

I reckon thats my fault. I left a comment last night about 10 minutes after the game that would have turned the air blue. I was pretty p!ssed off and a little drunk at the time so I do apologise to those who cant their fury.

I think it is about time that a rival Association is setup that have simple rules, like offside returned to its original format, video technology being introduced, yellow/red cards overturned etc, this Association will have representatives from each member that makes decisions rather than 1 man.

Football needs to be revolutionised, FIFA are the only option for football, we have change that, we need a governing body that that lets football do the talking instead of making the game complicated like FIFA are doing, I am sure that many Associations would break away if there was an another option.

It was there this morning when I got into work so maybe you and loads more Irish fans made their feelings known to FIFA. Im not complaining cos every Irish fan has a right to be p*ssed off at FIFA and send them loads of abuse. Im just sorry I didnt post my comment last nite myself. Sent them an email instead though.

    Crazy!!

Where will this stop. Sigining petitions and demanding a replay everytime there is a controversial decision. Its just madness. We got humped last night by the officials. We, like many many other countries and clubs around the world who have been victims of bad decisions just have to deal with it and come back next time.

If McShane could defend properly we wouldnt be talking about this robbery today. We would be moaning or celebrating the peno shootout.

How can you blame him, the ball was clearly going out for a goal kick ?

Rubbish point about McShane---the ball was going out the only way to stop it was by using hand

Rubbish back at ya. Because if he sheparded it properly i.e. get his body around it and protect the ball instead of letting it fly past his body - he would have prevented Henry getting anything, hand, foot or knob on it at all. In fact with TH lurking around behind you he should have got rid - simple as. That's why I blame McShane's defending. Basic schoolboy stuff.

Not really. When you see it from behind there was no way he could attack it given the trajectory of the ball and the obstacles in front. He was guilty of ball watching and not being aware of the line maybe. But given where he was standing the only way that ball was going to be kept in play after his attempted sheppard was outside the rules, which he can't account for.

A kick out was more desiralble at that stage than a scuffled clearance which was the only other thing on offer.

Saying that, I don't think it would've happended to O'Shea or even Kelly...
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

McShane shoulders some blame, the ball was there to be won and with a player the calibre of Henry lurking, you have to deal with it. Obviously he can't account for cheating, but every ball into the box like that has to be dealt with decisively. It's no coincidence that the only time a hopeful punt into our area wasn't attended to was on his watch.

Still agree - not going all out on this replay stuff, load of what if's and maybe's. I'd like FIFA to clarify their rules on play off draws and consider using video technology. But the rest is football.

Alright blame McShane I'd rather ask why our keeper could'nt come 3 yards off his line a take a lobbed ball above his head, at the other end their keeper came for everything all night an made it his.
