Lot of positives in that first half, McGeady is going to have a big impact in this game, he has the beating of Zambrotta. St Leger looks very nervous. Doyle hasnt done had a look in yet but is getting through a lot of work. Best or Folan might give the Italian defence a little bit more to think about. It wouldnt suprise me now tough if the 2nd 445 were played a friendly intensity.

McGeady has been excellent. He is Keeping their right full "at home" allowing Kilbane to have one of his best games in quite awhile. yes his final cross is not always the best but his trickery is a joy to behold. I can see Leon Best coming on and scoring the winner here. Or creating a clear chance for Robbie.

He needs to start playing the ball into the box sooner, he's giving the Italians way too much time to get their defence organised.

Is anyone else slightly unnerved by the fact that the ref is Norwegian given it's in Norway's interest for us to lose this match?
