A waste of time and energy?

Couldn't live in a world without cheese - melted or otherwise, cow, sheep or goatsmilk. With honey and nut bread. A good stinking Brie cru. The salt tang of Blue Stilton. Homemade cottage cheese with herbs from your own garden... Damn: going to have to raid the fridge now.

I'll wager Easi Singles and the muck you get on burgers never saw a cow's udder in its miserable existence...

Only you mentioned honey and blue cheese, I almost thought you had logged in as me. I think I could forgo all other foodstuffs bar curry, as long as I have cheese.

Speaking of which, if you are looking for a smooth and not overly strong goats cheese, fivemiletown creamery do the finest I have ever eaten, their brie ain't bad either.

I could live quite happily in a world without curry, the smell alone makes me nauseous.

...turning the "behaviour that needs to be banned...." thread into the cheese thread (even though I love the stuff).

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Trust me: honey and cheese is the business. Baked chèvre, walnuts and honey...mmm-hmm. And Ossau-Iraty is just made for cherry jam...

I'll keep an eye out for the Fivemiletown creamery goats cheese - thanks.

Can't beat a Calvita Cheese single. The cheese of Gods. That or a Wexford Creamery mature cheddar.

I also admit to loving McDonald's cheese, I've been know to spend quite some time making sure I eat all the little bits of cheese that get stuck to the burger wrapper, they're like tastly little presents.

I believe a pizza with no cheese would be just a flat bread?

Oh and if you've never had cheese and marmite on toast then you've never lived. I'd recommed the Calvita singles mentioned above. Marmite also works well as a pasta sauce when added to some melted butter (Nigella approves so it must be good).

I've been trying to think of something to ban to bring the thread back on topic but I'm not having any luck so screw it.

This thread is now officially cheesier than the 'Jokes' thread.

How about banning calling Calvita "cheese"? No wonder the rest of the EU looks on us with disdain: they gave us Reblochon, feta, Danish blue, Manchego, Cambozolo, Stinking Bishop, and until recently all we gave 'em in return was Calvita and Easi Singles...

I'll grant you, and Dahamsta, that mature cheddars are good (just had a toastie with 5 year aged cheddar) but Irish tastes seem to prefer bland cheeses, and most cheddars cater for this.

The bitchiness of the scouse rat at some random debt collection agency that rang me earlier. Apparently the last bill on a house I lived in a while back wasn't paid, which is bull as I had to show the landlord final bills to get my deposit back. Landlord denies having a copy, and as its been a few years I obviously wouldnt still have it so they're claiming I still owe it. They can take a run and jump for all I care
