Excellent performance so far, defending well. Dropped very deep in the last 5 minutes but thats to be expected as they held out for half time.

Pats doing well, but began to look in trouble towards the end of the half...

The worst they'll get out of this is a 1 goal loss I think, great chance in the return leg if so...

So far so good. Rode their luck quite a bit shall we say, but then also could (should?) be 1 up. Hope they don't start dropping back too early in the second though.

By "should?" I mean should Partridge have hit the target? Looked so but hard to make out on the jerky picture.

Anyone else think the ref is ridiculously fussy? He's stopping the game for the slightest contact. Pat's need an outlet up front Fitzpatrick is not giving them anything, hopefully bring in Quigley at half time. Pat's gave away a couple of chances and were sitting too deep in the last five minutes of the half but they look dangerous themselves from set pieces. Really hope Pat's can get an away goal and a draw at worst.

Can't see them holding out. Steaua have spurned lots of chances, and I can't help but think at least one will find the net in the second half.
Unbelievable chance after 1min, alone in the box, 5 yards out and he missed the ball! Thank god

Still all these chances and Steaua's posession was expected.

I thought Gavins header was a better chance than Partridge's. Free header six yards out, if only it was an inch lower!

2 poor misses by Pats I thought. Crying out for Byrne or Fabio to be on the end of Partridge's chance. Signs are good but I think Steaua are physically stronger. Hope they dont regret those two chances.

I can see them sneaking an away goal, Harris from a set piece!! Heard it here first!!

Yeah he is very fussy and seems to be favouring Steau in all 50/50 calls.
