Living in luxembourg and got flights for 400€ with KLM in their winter sale.

But a decent hotel for the 6 days according to my searches will cost more than that.....

So any advice welcome, was there last year and the hotel i booked is already fully booked this year.

We stayed at the Radisson last summer handy to get to downtown and was at a reasonable enough price.

I was in Boston for Paddy's Day 2003. It was feckin' freezin'.

We stayed in the Hilton Back Bay. It was pricey enough but the facilities and location were excellent.

There is no 'central location' is Boston so prepare to get taxis.

I disagree with these fellas, Boston is so condensed that you are supposed to be able to walk from one end of the city to another in 20 minutes. Also, they have the MBTA that you can ride.

I stayed in the Boston Park Plaza for a week about 2 months back. Its about 2 minutes walk from Boston Common. Booked it through booking.com and got it for around €900 for a double room.

Thanks guys for all the above.

Ended up booking Jury's and worked out ok. Also for the people that have been there recently is the easy to find a bar with a lockin??

Closing times are 2 at the latest and with no niteclubs opened later than this either it would seriously curtail some late night drinking.

    Thanks Again

    Mike

    Boston

Did a search and didn't find a thread on this already...

Boston, surely a few on here have been? Any suggestions or thoughts?...

Going to the States for two weeks (hopefully more) at the end of July/start of August.

Going to Chicago and Boston, was in Chicago on a j1 last year and absolutely loved it...

Heard great things about Boston, reckon I'll like it alrite, just looking for any insight those who have been might have?

    Cheers

Anything you want to tell me tbh.

Really looking forward to walking around the city, anything I should particularly look out for?

Will be drinking every night as well so if you could recommend any good bars that would be cool too...!

Have two buddies over there at the moment for the summer, one on a j1 and the other is on work placement, I'm sure they'll be able to show me around...just thought I'd see if anybody on here had anything different, or maybe out of the ordinary to add...

    Cheers
