Mervue@2.75 look best value. UCD and Waterford also tempting.

Very little to choose between all the games. No one team is in superior form to their opponent. I'll only be looking at the PD games at the weekend.

Wexford at 11/4 against Fingal is worth a punt. Should get about evens for Wexford +1.

I'm on that like a fly on manure. Pats have lost to all the teams above them so far, and the last 3 games against Bohs have all been comfortable victories.
Putting my largest stake of the season so far on this one.

    Backing Bohs @ 2.05 (Bet365) - 5 pts

Couple of decent-seeming prices on Paddy Power (have an online account, so never bother to shop around) -

Derry 6/5 to win in Sligo - Sligo were awful against Bray, and extratime had them down as having only two subs, so the squad is stretched too.
Rovers 7/2 to win in Cork? Cork have lost their last two and can't score at home, while Twigg is on fire for Rovers.
Kildare and Longford to draw is 12/5 - Kildare are improving and have signed Philly Hughes; Longford are still muck.
Could also try a small punt on Drogs at 3/1 to win in Galway, whose form is gone through the floor (six defeats in eight; Drogheda have lost two in the same time, and beat Cork yesterday).

Have put a massive two quid on doubles from those and Wexford to win or draw (4/6) and Bohs to win (4/5), so a E30 stake in total.

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

I meant the top 4, who are 8 points ahead of the rest. I lumped us in with the bottom 6. Pats beat Cork but they hadn't gelled at that time, so I think we can discount that result.

Bet365 now go 5/6 on Bohs

Betfred have pats 4/5 and bohs 3/1, clearly a mistake though.

Dunno about that, Kildare are improving all the time and we're not very good really. I've included a draw in a small treble of Galway-Drogs draw, Kildare-Town draw and Cork to win. Won't be too disappointed if we win obviously. Also backed Bohs on their own.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

We were missing a few players in recent weeks - most notably Garry Breen at the back and anyone with any experience as cover. We played pretty well last night in Dalymount. I would worry that we haven't scored in 4 games but our form isn't as bad as our recent results suggest.
That said Drogs are clearly on a good run themselves.

I'll be looking to back Wexford and am just annoyed I didn't get on that Bohs price when I spotted it yesterday.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

    I am tempted by this:

    Bohs/Galway/Dundalk/Cork/Kildare/Harps/UCD/Waterford @ about 650/1 to 700/1

Bohs obviously seem the certs for tomorrow night but there's good cases to be argued in Drogheda, Bray and Shams favour. I'm sure at least one of the three will get an away win tonight and I'm thinking of backing all three as singles. If I back Bohs heavily (for me) that should cover any losses.

Would be wary of betting on Derry games normally but they tend to play better away from home and against sides who try to play football rather than stick 10 behind the ball and they have both on Friday in Sligo. I'd be tempted to back them too but hate betting on City games.

Twigg 20/1 to score x2 or more with PP. Flood 12-1 same bet, Madden 16-1.

Bohs 10/3 to win both halves too. Although they do tend to start slowly and improve, or start on fire and ease up.

    5s with Bluesquare.

I've ploughed into Bohs tonight, max bet @ 2.2 with Bet365, away to Pats. Pats are really hopeless this season and look like lost souls. They have a couple of quality players who are really under performing for them and the new lads they have brought in are poor players. Here are the results of the past three meetings between the sides, in all competitions. The latter two are from last season, when the stains had a decent side so they will be really up against it tonight.

    Bohemians 3 - 0 St Patricks Athletic
    Bohemians 3 - 0 St Patricks Athletic
    St Patricks Athletic 1 - 3 Bohemians

Bohs were second in the table this time last week when they faced table toppers Cork and collected all three points, they should have no problems with doing the same when traveling to Inchicore. The 6/5 is long gone though you can still get 1.8 on the exchanges, nothing great. However, this one is live on the box so if you looking for a bet tonight then this is the one.

Also, going with a small tidy treble of Bohs (10/11), Derry (11/10), and UCD (11/10).

And another thing, there's a big game in the first division tonight with Shels facing Waterford. I won't be getting involved myself but the 3.45 for a Waterford victory is very big. Shels have been dire all season and there's a chance we will be without our first choice keeper. This game will be tight and I fancy either a 1-1 or 0-1 scoreline.
    Who Cares?!
