Prices from Hills as usual.
Dundalk 11/8 at home to Pats is an instant standout. I don't expect this price to be around for too long.
A week ago I'd have been all over Dundalk. Not too sure about that now though for obvious reasons.
Galway I'd imagine will be a good price to beat Sligo away from home.
Wexford @ 7/2 at home to Shels is surely too big?
They drew with Monaghan if I remember correctly. But Monaghan are doing well of late.
We shouldn't give the Will Hill's odds complier any credit for actually knowing much, going on what we have seen so far this season. I'd be very surprised if Wexford are trading as high as 4.5 on betfair by kick off. Shelbourne have been very poor in their last few games, and were sh!te vs Kildare according to Raheny Red.
Have placed my max allowed bet on Wexford Draw No Bet @ 23/10 with Will Hill and a fairly substantial bet on Wexford @ 7/2 with a view to laying some of it off later.
From extratime.ie:
Wexford Youths continued their fantastic form Friday night with a well earned win against Mervue United at Ferrycarrig Park through Man of the Match David Breen’s 58th minute tap in after Peter White had flicked on Conor Sinnott’s corner. Mervue were truly lucky not to concede at hat full as the home side held up fantastically and broke at will all through the game with Conor Sinnott and David Millar running rampant from David Breen’s distribution all night.
Draw no bet Wexford at 23/10 is massive. I'm having some of that.
If you take away Dundalk's hammering by Bohs, their goal difference is much better than Pats', who've been stuffed 3-0 4 times. All is still not right with them.
Obviously, it depends if they have a central midfield or not, with Turner suspended.
Agree on Wexford, that's a big price.
I'll probably end up going for Cork at 4/5 to beat Bray. 7 wins out of 8, not to be sniffed at.
Anyone live/work near a Celtic bookies? Think I may have found a gem- if interested Pm me.
Who Cares?!
Looks like it's gone now. Well it's either gone or they ****ed up by giving me the wrong price. I suspect the latter though
Bohemians -v- Drogheda
Went down to Celtics today to see what price they would give me on Bohs (-1). Girl rang up head office, I was expecting 10/11 at most. They gave her 9/4! I doubled checked with her if that was right, she said yes. So off I went to a hole in the wall for some cash. So back in the shop I placed the bet. She rang back over if it was alright to take it. They gave the go ahead and confirmed that the price was grand. Now this could well be a mistake by one of their compliers but there were 2 separate phone calls and both confirmed Bohs -1 was 9/4. That is massive.

Who Cares?!
Athone V Mervue
Fancy mervue (think its 4/5 to 1)- for no other reason that the last 4 LOI games i have went to the away team has won, and im hoping to get to that game this weekend -![]()
I'm on over 2.5 @ 2.35 with bet365 in that game.
The games between the lower ranked teams in div 1 are much more open than when they take on the top 4. I expect goals here. Odds of 2.35 on overs is huge.
Bray Wanderers -v- Cork City
City are on a roll recently. 25 points out of their last 27 is a fantastic haul, and they've beaten Derry and Bohs in that time. They are top of the table for a reason. Whatever the possible financial trouble behind the scenes, on the pitch they are doing the business, and should prove too strong for a plucky, but green Bray outfit. 3/4 is a decent price given their run (was 4/5 earlier) and I feel this is the most secure bet of the weekend.
Backing Cork City to win, (Bet365) @ 3-4 - 3 pts
