I think they blew it with Mooney KOB playing too slow.

    White gone now:

    89/7 - 27 off 22

94 All Out, they cracked and bottled it, in saying that it should been enough.

Really poor stuff by Ireland, no heroic defeat here. Done up like kippers by a part-time off-spinner.

From half following the text commentary it seems like they really blew it towards the end alright.. Although from the updates here, it seems like Ireland are now on 99 runs...??

Erm, yeah. Cricinfo's commentary went haywire and CricketEurope seems to have Ireland 95 all out when it should be 95-9!

The 17th over is the problem. They put 2 wickets down in that over on the commentary when White was the only one to go..

    Same here http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/shared/.../scorecard.stm

Only 17 runs short of a win.

Eoin Morgan came on as a substitute fielder and prevented a six off the second-last ball.

I wouldn't have been able to do it. I'd have had to trip myself up or something..

The greedy ''...'', how could he do it, the victory could have helped the nation progress in terms of TV coverage, national perspective of cricket etc.

Morgan arrives at the wicket, 98-4 in this game with England 0-2 down in the series. Big innings for him.

    Who cares.

What The Boss said above. The eejit ran off at Stormont before anyone had the chance to give him stick....

Very interesting news; I think test cricket should be the ultimate aim but I was watching Zim & Bangladesh the other day & the top nations could send their 3rd team's out and still cruise past them.
