I think it's time to let John Mooney go, to be honest. He's been a great servant to Irish cricket, but seems to be in the squad for purely sentimental reasons these days. Went for more than seven an over today.

Ireland, Canada, Kenya and the Netherlands qualify for the World Cup (which won't feature games in Pakistan, it's just been announced.) Scotland just squeaked into the ODI slots. Afghanistan have also earned ODI status. Ireland face Canada in the tournament final.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

Have to agree with you there, some great young talent pushing through and their expierence is vital. I don't think the WC will be hosted in the Sub-Continent, too many previous issues in India and Pakistan is a no go area. I think South Africa are in for another windfall, or Australia

Canada all out for 185 after 48 overs. Trent Johnston took 5 wickets giving up only 14 runs.

Ireland in great shape to win the tournament now.

I can not see be added to the squad, they have some good ODI players as it is, it would be a surprise for me if he was added to the panel.

Forgot to congratulate BobTheDrog on beating us in a closely contested Junior C match. Rush IV 22 ao and Sandyford IV 17 ao Lowest score ever by any SCC team.

At least we dismissed Bob for his 4th consecutive duck against us
