Just back from Bridesmaids. Excellent fun. Everything has been said before. Still trying to figure out what the story was with Chris O'Dowd's accent?
The addition of Wilson Phillips was a great touch. As was embarrassing my girlfriend singing along! Oh yeah. I'm just that cool.

First ten minutes are excellent, next hour drags, last hour is amazing action
Fox's replacement does little else other than pout and look good in clothes, some nice nods and winks to other franchises
Better than second, not as fun as the first. solid 7/10

    Saw both recently...
I gave my opinion on transformers already so i wont repeat it.

But i enjoyed The Guard. Some genuine laugh out loud moments and generally funny throughout. Times you feel like they were trying a little too hard but all in all a good film.
That said you definitely dont need to go cinema for it, also It doesn't portray us in a good light as a nation but you need to be able to take the p*ss outta yerself eh?

Saw The Guard this evening. Extremely funny and sad in equal measure. Really sharp writing for the most part and well worth a watch. 8/10

The Ordeal.Old folks entertainer in Belgium is travelling to do a gig when his van breaks down in the middle of nowhere, friendly inn keeper offers to help him but does the exact opposite.Let's just say him (Inn keeper)or the locals haven't seen a woman in a while.(In French with subtitles)Totally weird 8.5/10.

The Cave.Set under a church in Romania where they discover underground waterways, starts off like a great movie but the horror is a bit tame and it goes on a bit 6/10.

Death Of A Ghost Hunter,Paranormal investigator offers to check out a haunted house for $5000 but gets a bit more than she bargained for,the acting is terrible but there are some really good shocks in it,if there were proper acting it would be a 9 or 10 but instead 7/10.

The Roommate - Absolute rubbish, done a million times storyline. 2/10. 1 for Minka Kelly and 1 for Leighton Meester.

Judging from the plot description on Wikipedia, you'd probably like The Ordeal that 12th Man spoke of...not exactly your average Hollywood blockbuster

Dorothy,A girl about 14 babysitting a child is suspected of assaulting the baby but is possibly possessed, somebody tries to find the truth, set in Ireland. It's no blockbuster but I liked it-8/10.

The Descent Part 2,takes up where the other one ended, some good scares 7/10

Triangle.Girl gets shipwrecked off a pleasure boat and ends up on a big ship but things get very odd after a while, will keep you guessing 7.5/10

The Crazies ,Zombies with a difference, take over a small town with devastating results, great entertainment.8.5/10

Midnight Meat Train ,Vinny Jones is a silent traveller on the underground train system with a briefcase and the name of the film is totally apt,for gore fans 8/10 if you don't like gore don't go near this movie.

That Wikipedia description pretty much sums it up,not for the faint hearted but the scene where Bartell goes to the local pub to tell the lads to leave his "wife" alone is brilliant as they all start dancing like penguins when he leaves the room

Watched the other guys last night.
It's very very funny. Trails off at the end but some of the jokes and set-ups are brilliant.

Watched the Guard the other day, great show. One of the best films of the year so far and Brendan Gleeson is fabulous in it. One of the best opening scenes to a movie I have seen in a long time. 9/10

On the contrary watched Bridesmaids too and I thought it was shockingly bad. Terry Crews got a 2 minute role when that man deserves a whole film to himself. Chris O'Dowd was wasted in it and alike Bonnieshels struggling to figure out what was up with his accent. 2/10

Horrible Bosses - It has some very funny moments but overall maybe it tries a bit too hard and is a bit too self aware. On the plus side Jennifer Aniston is looking better than ever. It's another one that's worth a watch but no need to rush down to the cinema, it'll make a good DVD or telly box film. 6.5/10

The Lovely Bones - Caught this on TV the other night, apart from a few moments I thought it was pretty poor. Didn't like the narration or the sequnces set in the "inbetween" or whatever it was called. It was like a pretty average episode of Criminal Minds with a rubbish ending and an irritating narrator. 4/10
