Its not wrong. Liverpool Spent £39.1m but recieved 19.85m in transfers whichs means overall they spent £19.25m.

Bought : Keane, Riera, Dossena, Cavalieri, Ngog and Saric
and Sold Crouch, Riise, Carson, Guthrie and Le Tallec according to World Soccer Magazine.
