    Roy Keane new Spurs manager?

I can't see Keane getting the Liverpool/United/Chelsea/Arsenal/City/Villa/Everton jobs in the near future (possibly ever). He has yet to sign a new contract at Sunderland. And the Spurs job is likely to be vacated by Ramos this coming week. If that happens I bet Keane's name is near the top of the list for new manager. If he does get the call from Levy I can see him jumping ship from Sunderland.

    He'd be mad to, imo.

Though it would be funny to see all the Irish Sunderland fans, worrying over how long they have to wait til Spurs are green enough for them to start claiming lifelong devotion to the fecker's new club.

Then there'll be other Sunderland fans who will be split over whether to side with Quinn or Keane...it'll be Saipan all over again!

    Way OT, I know.

Anyway, imo, he's building something up at Sunderland. Spurs are all over the place now. He should finish his job at Sunderland first.

like Superfrank says he'd be mental to take on that bunch of clowns. The team/squad is so unbalanced it's untrue. Jenas as your captain?! To top it off he'd have no say in who is brought into the club - Comoli the sporting director sees himself as some transfer guru!!!

Jenas's free kicks today started in row k and moved through the alphabet. Lennon allowed to stay on the pitch for the entire game. Bentley looking at himself in a imaginary mirror. Should be an interesting week down at the lane.

I also think he'd be mad to do it, Spurs may not even be in the top flight next season, I know its unlikely that they'll go down after the inevitable manager change thats approaching, but Keano will stick to his guns I think.

A lot of Irish did simply cause they wore white and most young Irish people were poor. Same with Leeds.

Exactly, I'm not mad, well, not totally mad. Poor people couldn't afford much clothes, and there probably wasn't much choice either, so they wore white t shirts and said they supported spurs/leeds etc... its documented... I think...

Sure they'd be better off with darker clothes and they'd get away with less frequent washings of their garments. A bit of foresight you know.

    That was a quick appointment.

I am not sure how he will do, I think he finally wants to manage a big club.

That's a real kick in the teeth for Portsmouth. I wonder if he's taken them as far as he can and is getting out of dodge?
Or as far as I can see, out of the fire and into the furnace.
