    Trappatoni in STD shocker.

    Clap for Trap

The Football Association of Ireland today (Sunday) announced that EA Sports will give out 33,000 inflatable giant hands to Irish fans at Wednesday evening’s World Cup qualifier in Croke Park (7.45om). The hands call on fans to ‘Clap for Trap’ and will be distributed before the game.

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni said: “The game against Cyprus is our first World Cup qualifier at home. It will be very important for all of our fans to get behind us on Wednesday night. Irish fans really will be our twelfth man and I hope everyone makes their voice heard on Wednesday night”.
    In Trap we trust

    Giant hands. FFS.
I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

Hope you can get them off easily enough, otherwise might be very messy at the jacks at halftime!

Why dont they go the whole hog and get an 'organ' player a al ice hockey to generate atsmosphere.

or why dont they pipe atsmospheric musak into Croke Park so TV viewers will think its like a roman collesium when the reality is its like a library where some people go for a bit of piece and quiet.

33,000 inflatable giant hands ? I am sure the Cypriots are quaking in their boots just thinking about it.

Can someone who has access to FAI/JD explain the americanisation of football eg music after a goal is scored (and bloody 'mockney music at that if memory serves me right' )does not repeat does not improve atsmosphere and no amout of crap gimmick eg inflatable hands or those blooddy tubes you bang together will improve the atsmosphere.

Why didnt they spend the money on good quality tricolours.

Croke Park may be a lost cause but we dont want these mistakes to be repeated at the new LR

I think the FAI are looking for a hand in distributing these before the game...bad, I know.

i liked the cards they sometimes use. when u put them up show the irish flag, green white and gold. at least the hands can be used as gloves.
