Finally got the game today. Had a few problems downloading them facepacks but got it sorted in the end. They are a super super job. Well done and thanks NiallSparky. Looking forward to the Harps one too if you get round to it.

Does anyone know how to fit the kits onto their templates in the game? I downloaded the ones from FMG live and the kit is the jersey, shorts and socks. I take it there is no way of fixing them so they fit exactly on the template?

Started a game in the Swedish fourth tier. At the first press conference the asembled hacks sniggered at my inability to speak Swedish and predicted all srots of problems. Yet four odd months later I (or at least my ingame persona) speaks fluent Swedish. Not basic I stress. Now granted I'm an astounding intellect, there's probably not much else to do in Northern Sweden and it's a part-time set up so there's probably plenty of free evenings to work with my language instructor Ursula but it seems a little quick surely?

Not a gripe as such on my part, I mean it's not a big deal, just an observation. Surely it should take a little longer?

There seems to be a standard acceptance that three months in a country will lead to fluency in that language.

I'm playing in Holland with Willem II. I'm sure the Dutch journos don't want me to do a Steve McClaren on them so they're happy to stick with the English...

Hi, ive yet to get the game but as soon as I do I plan on making an audacious attempt to create the All-Ireland League. IRL I am firmly against it but in terms of enjoyment it would add to the overall joy of the game imo.

I would use the NI leagues as they have a proper pyramid system in place. This would probably wreck the Setanta Cup but it would be worth it(unless there is a way of taking it out of the game?)

I would then change the Irish Premiership teams to having professional status to prevent them from struggling against their more talented league of ireland opposition.

Because I am Irish I would set the country as (Republic of) Ireland(makes sense) and change the former 'eircom league' to an obsolete amature league comprising of (northern) irish third tier nobodies.

Is there still 3 tiers in the N.I database?

Is this possible to do, or would that problem where the leagues don't appear in start up menu occur?

I'm also considering what logo I would give the League. Found this.

how exactly do you activate the facepacks in the game. My computer tries to open them with Adobe, but then a message comes up about the file being damaged and not de-coded

What you could do is try and duplicate all the eL and IL teams and then put them in a small league (MSL, LSL) and then play off if you don't mind getting rid of the Non-League teams

Have you WinRar downloaded on your comp. You need this to extract the files into the Sports Interactive Folder.

Yeah you'll need to extract them with some extraction software. You may already have winrar, if not you should download IZArc which is free: http://www.izarc.org/

Then you open the files using that and extract to My Documents>Sports Interactive>Football Manager 2009>Graphics.

    Hope this helps.

On the facepacks, I'm finding it pretty difficult to get them for some First Division clubs. Does anybody have any they're okay with being used in the facepacks? PM me if you do.

    Joseph Lapira

He has pace of 13 finishing of 14 and composure of 17. Composure most important attribute for strikers and he's scored over 20 goals in 2nd half of serie b season.

All-Ireland League database for those that are interested.

Premier: Bohemians, Cliftonville, Cork City, Derry City, Drogheda United, Galway United, Glentoran, Linfield, Portadown, Sligo Rovers, Shamrock Rovers, St. Patricks Athletic.

Championship: Athlone Town, Ballymena United, Bray Wanderers, Cobh Ramblers, Coleraine, Crusaders, Dundalk, Dungannon Swifts, Finn Harps, Glenavon, Limerick 37, Lisburn Distillery, Longford Town, Newry City, Shelbourne, University College Dublin, Waterford United.

First Division: Armagh City, Bangor, Donegal Celtic, Institute, Kildare County, Larne, Limavady United, Loughgall, Mervue United, Monaghan United, Sporting Fingal, Wexford Youths.

The season is based on the IFA structure therefore the nationality is Northern Ireland. The Leagues have all been renamed as "All-Ireland" though.

Not sure why Dundalk are in the 'Championship' but putting that aside, it would be quite easy to fix the above and correct nationalities to Irish by switching NI and ROI in the game.. There is no reason why nationality needs to be NI when using the IFA structure.
