there's a free week next week and for some clubs free weekends in November.
Some of Group 1 games will have to be played soon, Shamrock Rvs - Drogs and the scheduled Drogs - Shamrock Rovers plus Mervues Utd's. last game to confirm placing in that group.
In group 2 there is less pressure on playing games. Two of the games could be played next week.
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
They're all dead games now, so they could be left unplayed if all comes to all.
They can; they've both got three games left and are less than six points behind. Forgot about that bit.
It's those games plus all of round 14.
Not sure what is happening with Drogheda though. They were unable to field a team against Harps last weekend, so what's the story with the rest of their fixtures?
If Mervue won't play the promotion play-off it kinda demeans the whole purpose of the A Championship surely? Who's bottom of the first anyway these days? Kildare? It's pleasant to be experiencing consecutive seasons when I'm not familiar with the back end of the table.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
I didnt mean that mervue wouldnt play the game, they are dead set on playing it and winning it, but they feel that a move into the LOI at this time would damage the club more than anything else as they have no cash at all to go paying semi pro footballers.
