I got 35/50 of the largest countries in the world. Probably have got one or two more if I could spell. 26/46 in the English counties. Impressed with that.

Hello or Hi would be very common in that everyone would use them, but they would only be used once in a given conversation though, unlike that or at or then or whatever... presume that's why they're not there.

Logical thinking Stan but I would've thought they've compiled the list based on written rather than verbal communications, simply because I hope no-one has been listening to my conversations and recording the incidence of certain words. If they have then I can only assume 'f*ck' and other such wonderful words will feature heavily. I'll try the game now.
Yeah no vulgarities in the list so probably written language alright. Or else the sampled people were very well spoken.
Anyway, somewhat bizarrely I also got 47! Amazing how many obvious ones you miss. Still, if I'm level with a language-expert like Osarusan I can be happy enough with myself.

What a weekend though - UCD beat Galway, Kerry beat Galway, Harrington wins the golf, and now, best of all, I've beaten Bluebeard in the language/geography challenge.
The only one that really surprised me (that I can recall) was 'water'. Even if water is everywhere (including 90% of your brain) I thought that one was a little strange.
There's a Wikipedia page on the issue that you may find to be more authoritative.
