Well if they have to follow it through then thats understandable and if the 2 lads dont want it then thats that then.
As for getting excited on the line... its all in the name isn;t it They know what I meant by that.

In fairness, whatever sucess G.D had with Celtic during his tenure in charge, losing to Shamrock Rovers I am pretty sure would not be up there among the favourites.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are basically claiming that losing gallantly to a league of Ireland side is a greater measure of a junior teams sucess then actually lifting trophies...?

What game were you at? They did not destroy Westport, look at the game not the result, we gifted you 2 headers, fair enough, we defended terribly and we deserve what we got for going to sleep.

However we had a definite penalty turned down. We were also missing the majority of our team, with Dessie O Malley, David Hoban, Vinnie OMalley, Brian Kennedy, and Gerry McLoughlin all out injured. We dominated the second half and had all the posession but could not convert fair enough.

All you did for most of the game is do what you always do, hoof the ball in the air, I was surprised at how much of this you still do, with all your young players playing in the U20 league last year I was expecting more from you, but no it is the same old stuff.

I am vindicated by what I say in view of your result against Bangor, your team is very poor, all you can hope for is third or fourth place the way you are playing at present.

I heard that we were flatfooted over the ninety minutes. Heard that we passed the ball about, but lacked the killer instinct. A neutral observer told me that it was two bad sides on show.

A neutral with a swing towards Westport is it TB

On the 45 mins I saw of it Westport had no answers to Celtics hunger and drive and really should have had won by more than the 2 goals!

Hunger and drive? Give it up. You are romanticizing the whole thing now. It was a crap cup match played by two bad sides as said above, and some terrible refereeing.

Undoubtedly, the star of the super league so far this season has to be Manulla's Jonathan Griffin. He's scored 5 goals already.

Giving his lack of altitude, his other attributes more than compensate. He should be a shoe-in.
