some result for the boro.. could it be there year?? think westport will be ther come the end of the year. celtic seem to be under pressure and seen as they cant get the eircom u20's up and goin, they'll find it hard to hold on to the young lads..

First real test of the year and found wanting again. All not well on or off the field. How long will they persist with the tired regime.

In the Touhy Cup Fahy are home to Manulla B,leaving Straide and Foxford playing Kilmore but don't know who's at home in the one.
I think that Clew Bay are playing against Snugboro in the McDonnell Cup but could be wrong. The full draw is available in the Mayo League fixtures book

Something is not right off the field, they drew 4-4 with the Heane last night.

celtic were 3 up after 5 mins if celtics committee cant see that mr dykes time is up then they shouldnt be in charge.his team lacks commitment heart and most worryingly organisation.if he seriously wants to bring celtic to eircom league then they should be able to blow the mayo league away!!!!! not only are they a very ordinary super league team but the clubs true day to day members and supporters want this guy out of the club the bad feelin in the town towards mr dykes is incredible. castlebar and the mayo league need a good celtic team and and mr dykes is not going to provide it.its time for change if he cant see the writing on the wall then the committee should show it to him god knows its in very large capital letters.

Thank you. I have been saying this for the longest time. Even the man that brought him to Celtic wants him gone. What do you say now 3-5-2 and Closing Time?

It looks like his time is/should be up now. He has brought the club as far as he can. Maybe someone new can take the team that extra step, but who that would be God knows. But he is far from gone yet

Also saddened to hear the departure of Dykes, main problem in Castlebar Celtic has to be the one and only Fergie McEllin, with him calling the shots at Celtic how can Celtic ever get wher they want to go!People at Celtic seem to hide from this,i believe he has more say than our chairman!!

How much power can one man have within a club??? I find it strage that one man (Fergie Mc) can have so much say!!!! Is it a situation that he controls everything that happens??? Did Dykes get the boot or did he resign????? Interesting times ahead!!

I am not joking when I say that the power that he has in that club is unreal.
I am delighted with the news that the Sligo man is gone but what will he leave behind.

Poor old Gavin.... Everyone's going to miss him so much... He offered something different to the local game; bug-eyed asininity, rotundity, a ridiculous accent, willingness to destroy the integrity of the game by pillaging neighbouring teams to assemble his side of obsequious mercenaries, rotundity again.... the list goes on... And for what?? A mere exorbitant salary and car package. Never again will I be able to countenance a grey sock pumped full of silage without being reminded of his contribution to Mayo football..
