First half I thought Celtic played some decent enough stuff to be honest. 2nd half was a completely different story where Rangers tightened the grip on midfield and Celtic did nothing of note.

Aiden was quiet as you rightly say but he got a few decent balls in.

Lets face it, its not unusual for a game between the top sides in any league to be a dull affair, look at 'grandslam sunday' for example
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

McGeady's been giving the Motherwell fullback "a roasting" so far according to radio commentary.

Maybe i am alone but i really really dont see him matching his potential at Celtic.
I sincerely hope that he moves during the summer. IMO Celtic have had their golden years over the past 5 or so years and will now be back in the shaddow o Rangers for the next few years. Only my opinion though

i'd like to see him go on the continent, ideally Spain or Italy. He'll probably play it safe and go to Liverpool or somewhere though.

He would really suit Spain. Even a good exciting team like Villareal or Getafe would do. In Spain he would plenty the time and space to show what he can do.
But i agree he will probably end up in England, but i have my doubts it will be a top 4. Think the best he can hope for is Spurs, Everton or Newcastle

McGeady as expected has made the shortlist of 4 for the PFA SPL

    Player of the Year

'PFA Scotland chief executive Fraser Wishart said: 'This is the top award for players. There is no greater honour in football than to be voted the best player in your country by your fellow professionals.'

"your country" refers to the country the players play in

I wouldn't call him a legend, yet. At the moment he's somewhere in between a leg-end and a legend.
My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method, is love. I love you Sheriff Truman.

Watched the Motherwell game instead of the boring Liverpool vs Blackburn game. McGeady was the usual curate's egg: good in parts but does run up blind alleys a lot and loses possession frequently. Admittedly the pitch didn't suit him but he's not the real deal YET.

That was the McGeady of this time last season. Poor performance and the full back definitely had the better of him. Terrible pitch though and Strachan certainly wouldn't have started him on that pitch last season.

Aye he hasn't been great the past couple of months. Still setting up plenty of chances though.

McGeady got the young player of the year award there this morning. Willo Flood got the goal of the season award as well.

Flood goal here, not great quality though

Flood's finish isn't spectacular, but the build up is impressive

    It's the perfect finish Tets.
What else can Flood do but strike it beautifully with a nice bend on it and hit the back of the net..
Helped a bit by the only defender jumping out of the way

think I meant the finish wasn't great in comparison to the build up, if you just saw the finish you wouldn't think it would win goal of the season
remember Kinkladze's goal for City against Southampton ages ago when he beat half the team and ended up with a tap in? Same thing, if you just saw the finish, you wouldn't think it was a great goal
