A Player can't play for Amatuer Intl. team if he has played or even signed Semi/Pro football at any stage in his career. I understand that in the next few years this will change. Players that have been out of Semi/Pro football for 5 years or more will be eligible to play.
A player can play Junior Intl. if he has played Semi/Pro football in the past.
There is also a rule that Players have to be under 35 years of age if they are to play Intl. at Amatuer Level.
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later
FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT
Difference is, Amatuer grade is players that have never played Semi/Pro Football.Players that are Junior or Senior as in Leinster or Munster Senior League players are OK as long as they have never signed as Semi/Pro.
Players that have played Semi/Pro or even Leinster or Munster Senior League
football at some stage in their career are OK for Junior Intl Team as long as they playing Junior Football. For example, if Junior Intl. Team have a game next week, a player is eligible as long as he is playing for a Junior Club.Davy Wall was playing for Pike when he played for the Junior team, isn't Eligible for Amatuer because of playing Semi/Pro in the past.
Hope that clears it up.

POINTS ARE SLIPPING FOR ALL TEAMS WHAT HAPPENES IF ITS A THREE WAY TIE FOR THE SECOND RELEGATION SPOT WITH GRANVILLE LAST STAR, CORBALLY AND S/VILLE ALL COULD END UP ON SAME POINTS
having played in both junior and intermediate leagues i can assure you the standard is quite a bit higher trust me.
junior players are eligible for both the junior and amatuer teams, while intermediate players are only eligible for the amateur team
[QUOTE=starman;911003]
If it was to happen the I assume one team would get a bye into the final (definately wont be us) with the other 2 teams playing a semi and meeting the team that got the bye in the final, but the semi and final would be played in Jackman I would guess. I wouldnt rule Carew Park out of the relegation fight just yet either, but from Wembley upwards should be safe.
[quote=summervilleman;911487]The good start Carew got might just about save them from the drop this year at least,Granville are doomed and its between Star,Summerville and Corbally to stay up its close but Star's run in is tougher they have to play all the top teams away starting tomorrow night against regional!
