Bohemians are to face Ukrainian giants FC Dynamo Kiev in a friendly in Marbella next week, as part of the pre-season build-up. The game will kick off at 2pm on Thursday.

Wednesday's previously scheduled game against Marbella has been cancelled. The Kiev game will take place in or close to Marbella, with the precise venue yet to be confirmed. Full details will follow shortly on bohemians.ie.

FC Dynamo Kyiv is one of the most illustrious names in world football. The club has featured strongly throughout its history in Ukrainian, Soviet and European football, with two UEFA Cup Winners' Cups and two Champions' League semi-final appearances.

Following Friday night’s match in Wexford, the St Pats squad will travel to Spain on Sunday for five days of pre-season warm weather training.

The trip will include a match against the mighty Dynamo Kiev at the MPF Sports Training Centre, just out side Marbella.

The kick off time is 4pm Spanish time on Wednesday February 20th.

Will the match in Wexford not count as warm weather training. It'll be at least 7 degrees tomorrow in the sunny SE

Add Rovers to that list (Shams not Sligo). We have a sponsership deal with some tour company there I think.

Not bad so, many fans go over for the games or were they behind closed doors?
